The Hellfire Club

The Hellfire Club, Harpurhey, Manchester

A distinctive semi-circular building, formerly a pub known as the Junction. In the early 2000s it was ill-advisedly taken over by Beartown Brewery of Congleton.

  1. We used to own the junction inn when its was a great irish pub. Its was full of great customers and characters. So sad so see the pub culture nearly gone just rotten wine bars left ....

    1. I detect you might be one of Peter's daughters. I bought the pub off Beartown Breweries and made it into an enjoyable destination venue with a difference and hopefully gained a bit of awareness and notoriety to this fantastic building. It was indeed in it's heyday as an Irish pub in the 80's with the Whelans at the helm and only wish I could have seen it operating then. It is now rented and hopefully opening soon. I hope many more people get to enjoy this fabulous building.
