The Four Heatons, Heaton Norris, Lancashire
Although an unprepossessing modern building, this pub was surprisingly cosy and comfortable inside and appeared in the Good Beer Guide for a number of years in the 1990s. It was the second nearest pub to my house. The photo is mine – it still shows as open on StreetView. Although the postal address is Cheshire, the pub is North of the River Mersey and thus in historic Lancashire.
