An impressive 1930s roadhouse in the Roundhay district on the eastern side of the city, which was converted to a drive-thru McDonalds before the advent of StreetView.
One of the posters on this "Secret Leeds" thread puts the conversion to a McD's in 96/97. https://www.secretleeds.com/viewtopic.php?t=6037 I think that Secert Leeds are correct in describing the location "Oakwood" rather than "Roundhay". I remember having a few pints of mediocre Tetley's there about 30 years ago.with my wife's family. The McD's seems much more popular then the pub ever was. I've driven past it 4 times today and the car park was consistently busy..
