Recording the slow, sad death of the British pub
A three-storey redbrick pub with a prominent clock tower in the sharp angle of two streets on the eastern side of the city.
I remember surveying this for the National Inventory many yeara ago. It had been knocked about a bit but was still quite impressive inside.
