The pub is in poor neglect and vastly overpriced. Priced for development. I had a quick look at the outside just over a week ago and without doubt Admiral Taverns are purposefully allowing the building to become an eyesore. Lymestone Brewery have offered to be the tenant if the local community purchased however, they would be paying well over true value as many community groups have. The pub companies just love community purchases.
ReplyDeleteCurrently open. Changed hands and opened/closed frequently over recent years. Now a free house owned and operated by the current landlady. Wet pub only.
