A substantial inter-wars pub in Jacobean style with distinctive mullioned windows, originally built by Greenalls. It was the last pub in Barnton, a village with a population of over 5,000.
This actually looks like a really beautiful building and it's a shame it's left closed like that. I'd love to have a pub at that location and I think that would be an awesome place to reopen a bed and breakfast or something. Hopefully someone re-purposes it and they will use it for something meaningful. http://www.jphotels.com.au
