The Castle Inn

The Castle Inn, Tutbury, Staffordshire

A small pub named after the famous castle in this attractive large village. Although closed for a number of years and now used as flats, its general proportions still clearly indicate its pub origins.

  1. Your comment regarding being converted to flats in incorrect. Has been a private house since being closed as a public house.

  2. This pub was kept for quite a number years by Dennis and Barbara Fell. Dennis died suddenly and tragically of a heart attack, and his wife continued to run the pub for about 15 years after his death, until it's eventual closure. She was a very well known person in the village, and was liked and respected.
