Yet another magnificent inter-wars Midlands roadhouse-cum-estate pub on the north side of Coventry.
Edit 17/04/17: I'm informed that this pub was reopened and is still very much in business. See here. The second photo shows the pub as it is now. It's always good to see a previously closed pub brought back to life.
I used to come this pub on a regular basis c.1964/65, when a cracking band ('group' it would have been called then) used to play on, I think, Sunday evenings and one night in the week. It was real, quality, FREE music of the day.
