    A sad sight. This was a great pub, but has suffered because of the demolition of most of the surrounding buildings...that's progress.

    It was the venue for UB40's video for "Red Red Wine".

    Is the name any more unusual than the Romping Donkey...or even the Dog IN A Doublet?

      Or its own name in the late 80s 'The Cauliflower Ear' when it had a boxing theme!
