A white-painted corner pub stranded in an area of industrial dereliction near the river Don to the north of the city centre. Take a step back and it’s miraculously open again.
The Grapes
A former King & Barnes pub on a bypassed section of the A23 Brighton Road, taken over and closed by Hall & Woodhouse and demolished and replaced by housing since the picture was taken. See here for more information.
The Cottage Inn
A small terraced pub on a busy dual carriageway to the west of the town centre, now converted to flats although retaining its sign.
