An attractive farmhouse-style pub in the St Mellons district on the north-east side of the city, which is reported to have been left to rot by pub company Star Pubs & Bars. It is still open on StreetView - the image is taken from the newspaper article.

A large stone-built street-corner pub on a busy shopping street on the north side of the city. There are plans to demolish it and build a block of flats on the site.

The Brooklands

Although not boarded up, this pub seems to be being used as the office for a building site.

The Garibaldi

A small back-street pub to the west of the city centre. Not yet boarded up on StreetView, although the For Sale signs have appeared.

A prominent street-corner pub in an area of working-class terraced housing in the Roath district of the city. It was recently reported as having been taken over by squatters. And yes, despite appearances, that is a colour photo.

A distinctive pub with a stone-faced ground floor and half-timbered upperworks close to Cadoxton railway station, Barry. Still open on StreetView.
