The Brickwall Inn

The Brickwall Inn, Tarbock Green, Lancs

A chalet-style 1930s roadhouse in the strip of countryside between Widnes and Liverpool. The extent of the car park suggests that at one time this was a very popular destination pub.

  1. Deserves a comment;
    Once best singing pub in the N.E. area of Liverpool. Saturday night, the warm-up was a set of tunes in an order we were quite familiar with and then, after a few pints, singers were called to entertain. No speaker - you had to make yourself heard.

  2. My mum and dad had this pub in the 1970's. Was always full from Thursday to Sunday.

  3. My mum and dad were the last to run this pub, I spent a lot of my childhood years living above the pub.
