Recording the slow, sad death of the British pub
A small Georgian pub with an unusual name situated just outside the Inner Ring Road. Pointed out on Facebook by Boak and Bailey.
The Printer's Devil is around the corner from the offices of the local paper, the Bristol Post. Some years ago they stopped printing the paper there which meant the pub lost half its custom. Also a load of 1970s offices in the area were demolished before the recession, the idea being they would be replaced with shiny new ones. Then everything went tits up and this didn't happen. The pub is now on the edge of a big inactive building site. Not surprised it shut
