A white-painted pub in the backwaters of the South Wales mining valleys. And no, that isn’t smoke rising from the chimney. If you move forward in StreetView you will see that many windows are broken.
Very likely - the whole point of this blog is simply to present images of closed pubs, not to speculate as to when or why they have closed. It's not meant to be "look at what the smoking ban has done", although undoubtedly some of the pubs featured will be ban casualties.
