its a shame this place is just left to rot and fall in to disrepair i would love to buy this and renovate it but don't seem possible with the tenant what a shame ....
The Blacwater never had a tenant .it was always a free house and it was the Bank of Scotland that closed it down. It is now for sale for renovation or conversion
I am afraid I am the owner and have been for some time. I purchased the land and the mineral rights over 4 years ago and I have the deeds in my solicitors possession.
If you would like to make an offer or discuss ownership, please email me on david.hammersmith@hotmail.co.uk or visit my office in Leamington Spa, just email me to receive the address.
Sorry Chris . They have either found new homes or gone to the great Subaru house in the sky we have lots of spare parts going free to good homes if you are interested
Is the Blackwater Inn open now (2017)? We stayed there many years ago in the mid 1990s with my stepson who would have been around 5yrs old at the time. We did a Learn to Ski package at Glenshee. Would love to be able to see it again one day.... We're visiting Oban for a few days very soon but not sure when we will next get up to Scotland.
My family owned the hotel/ pub Glenshee Inn now the Blackwater Inn from the 1970’s - 1983 ish so this was my childhood home! I would love it if someone rescued the building and it was lived in again
Does anyone know why the Black water Inn closed or have any details as to how to contact the owner of the land or specs on the property at all?
