The Blackwater Inn

The Blackwater Inn, Glenshee, Perthshire

Not boarded up, but doesn’t look very open. In a very isolated situation on the main road from Blairgowrie to the Spital of Glenshee.

  1. Does anyone know why the Black water Inn closed or have any details as to how to contact the owner of the land or specs on the property at all?

    2. The Blacwater never had a tenant .it was always a free house and it was the Bank of Scotland that closed it down. It is now for sale for renovation or conversion

    2. Hello Whiterowan

I am afraid I am the owner and have been for some time. I purchased the land and the mineral rights over 4 years ago and I have the deeds in my solicitors possession.

If you would like to make an offer or discuss ownership, please email me on david.hammersmith@hotmail.co.uk or visit my office in Leamington Spa, just email me to receive the address.

  6. Is the Blackwater Inn open now (2017)?
We stayed there many years ago in the mid 1990s with my stepson who would have been around 5yrs old at the time. We did a Learn to Ski package at Glenshee.
Would love to be able to see it again one day....
We're visiting Oban for a few days very soon but not sure when we will next get up to Scotland.
