The Skinners Arms

The Skinners Arms, Leeds, Yorkshire

A substantial Jacobean-style pub alongside a widened main road on the north side of the city, next to what looks like a row of back-to-back houses.

  1. I lived nearby in 1985/86 when this was a busy Tetley's pub, one of several in this part of Leeds. There used to be a very good curry house next door (now demolished) where you were allowed to bring a jug of beer from the pub to have with your meal.
