Recording the slow, sad death of the British pub
A distinctive pub in the angle of two roads on the south-east edge of the city centre close to the Royal Armouries museum, which has been closed for many years. It stands in the shadow of an angular modern office building.
I've just found out some interesting news about 'The Crown'. As part of the hunslet redevelopment its due to be refurbished within the next year and guess what it's been re-opened as a pub and hotel again after decades of been derelict, can't believe it. I thought they'd do like every other pub and demolish it.
