The Nag's Head

The Nag’s Head, Tipton, Staffordshire

A bay-windowed pub originating from the late Victorian or Edwardian period, with some ornate decoration, overlooking Tipton’s rather windswept-looking market place.

  1. Lovely building. It looks like it's got a blue plaque on the front that may indicate a connection with someone of historical importance. Any idea who this might be or what the plaque signifies?

  2. Well spotted! It would appear to be Joseph Davies VC (1889-1976) - see here.
