An estate-type pub on the main road heading east out of the town, that gives the impression of once having had ambitions to attract passing trade. Since the photo was taken it has been demolished.
I’ve recently been sent an impressive collection of photos from in and around Burton upon Trent by a local correspondent, so expect a fair few from that area in the coming weeks.
Had my stag night in here in 1985, when it was called the Dominoes.
