The Norfolk Arms, Marple Bridge, Cheshire

An attractive pub, formerly tied to Bass, in the centre of a prosperous commuter village. It is perhaps surprising that a pub cannot succeed in this location. My own photo – it still shows as open on StreetView.

    This one is trading again and doing well. The Romper on the Ridge though is now a private dwelling.
