An attractive bay-windowed pub on the main road heading south from Stoke towards Stone, now in a sorry state of decay.
A red colour-washed pub in a surprisingly leafy location just west of the town centre. Since the StreetView car went by an outhouse and a smoking shelter on the end have been demolished. And surely this is one of the best pub names around!
A small redbrick pub on a long residential road near Dudley. On StreetView it is “For Sale or To Let”, but on the more recent photo it has been converted to flats and the car park is being used for a hand car wash.
They just keep coming! Here’s another unassuming mid-terrace pub in the one-time capital of British brewing. It still appears in good decorative order, but look closely at the windows and you can see it’s no longer in business and in fact is in the process of being converted to apartments.
